Novak Djokovic has fired coach Todd Martin, who has been working with the Serb for the last 6 months. Djokovic will now be back on a full time basis with Maria Vajada, who before Martin was in the mix was Djokovic's full time coach. So its back to the original way of doing things for Novak.
Djokovic had this to say about the situation: “I tried to work with two coaches, but it didn’t work,” Djokovic said. “You always will have problems like that when you have two coaches. Even though they understood each other very well. Todd faced a lot of difficulties to work on and off the court. It’s not an easy job definitely. He just didn’t have enough time to understand what I need what I do and how I am at the end, so life goes on.”
