Samantha Stosur takes the title in Osaka, Japan by beating Francesca Schiavone in the final.

Yanina Wickmayer, the young Belgian keeps showing more and more promise. She won the WTA tournament being held in Linz, Austria. She defeated Petra Kvitova in the finals.
