Day 6 of the U.S. Open.

The recap for Saturday will be short and sweet...

Big news of the day had to be Andy Roddick losing to fellow American John Isner in a classic 5 set match. Its good to see douchebag Roddick gone. Isner will face Fernando Verdasco in the Round of 16. Verdasco won a hard fought 5 setter over Tommy Haas..... Soderling beat Sam Querrey in 4 and faces Davydenko next who beat Marco CHODEinelli......James Blake who is a chump finally lost. Tommy Robredo beat him easily in straight sets and earned a prize of getting his ass smoked by Roger Federer next......Djokovic and Stepanek both also won and will face eachother in the next round.

Dinara Safina who has been winning with smoke and mirrors over her opponents finally fell to Petra Kvitova. I have no idea who the hell Petra Kvitova is, but she will face Yanina Wickmayer in the next round for a berth to the quarterfinals. Basically this whole top of the bracket is fucked. There are no seeds left and in the other matchup will be Gisela Dulko and "Flying" Bondarenko sister named Kateryna. So either Bondarenko, Dulko, Wickmayer, or Kvitova will be in the semifinals of the U.S. Open. Pretty Crazy.

Melanie Oudin continued her cinderella run by defeating the overrated and over-hyped Maria Sharapova. Oudin will now match up against another Russian Nadia Petrova, who is inconsistent and can meltdown at any moment or play great tennis. I think Oudin has a great chance of moving on to face the winner of Caroline Wozniacki and Svetlana Kuznetsova, who both won on Saturday. The odds on favorite to get through the top half draw will be the winner of Wozniacki and Kuznetsova.

A lot more matches are scheduled for Sunday featuring Rafa Nadal, Williams sisters, Del Po and an interesting matchup between Zvonareva and Pennetta.
